The unraveled secret about PTT Thomas Adjei Bio

LIFE STORY OF THOMAS BIO  Physiotherapy Technician, writer, & blogger.

________________________________________
Thomas Bio is an Akan who speaks Asante Twi and comes from Ejisu -Kwaso in the Ashanti region of Ghana.
Both parents are from the same Akan clan yet come from different geographical areas. Thomas mother, Margaret Antwi comes from Kwaso whilst his father is from Kwaso-Deduako.
He was named after his grandfather; Yaw Adjei, who's the father of Opanin Kwaku Bio, the father of Thomas Bio. That's why Thomas Bio has a middle name "Adjei "but this name was not attached to his academic name.
The life of Thomas Bio lies so much controversies. Amongst all the siblings, he was the only child his mother had no hope for his survival right from birth, since she encountered lot of gestational complications which did not only prolonged her labour but affected the entire body composition of the baby.  He was the only underweight baby ever, the mother has had. This wasn't the end of him upon being severely wasted, the mother was determined to stick to postnatal care and other careful monitoring, which later flee Thomas from subsequent postnatal mortality.
Thomas is the last but-one born amongst the other siblings. His academic life began as follows.
THE LIFE IN BASIC SCHOOL.
Thomas Bio was enrolled in the basic school when he was seven years old. At that age he was old enough not to have been to kindergarten and so didn't pass through kindergarten before primary one.
After being enrolled in primary one in the Wenchi D/A Primary School, Thomas was very truant. This then affected him so much in his academic performance which resulted in a failure in his end of term examination in 2003 and was repeated in primary one.
In the subsequent terms, Thomas began to sit up and became well nurtured and brilliant. He passed the end of term exams in 2004 and was promoted to primary two in 2005 when he was 9 years old.

His academic performance after he was promoted to primary two became very surprising and worth unchallenging.
Not a single student could place top of the class in his presence. He became first throughout the entire classes till he got to the upper primary (primary six).
His extraordinary performances made all teachers began to like him and there was not a single school academic program Thomas would be left out. He used to do inter school quiz competition and always make his school proud by emerging first.

In primary six, Thomas became the school prefect. For as young as thirteen years old in 2009, Thomas began learning how to speak in public by conducting assembly and  also requested basic announcement from masters to be delivered to students on his own. Thomas among other colleague were made to take charge of the School's computers because of his time consciousness and how wisely he treats his learning materials, Which they thought he could do likewise when the computers are left under his care.
What makes Thomas very unique amongst other students was that upon his brilliancy, as a student who walks for nearly 5miles for school, he would always not be absent from class and most of time could come to school even before other students who just resides where the school is, start reporting.
LIFE AT JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL.

Wenchi D/A JHS is a school in the wenchi township in the Western region of Ghana. Thomas entered the school in 2010 when he was 14 years old with his unchallenging academic performance. Over there too, Thomas would not only be first in class but entirely placed first in almost each subjects except core mathematics.

It is always said that success isn't achieved on a silver platter. Thomas was hard working, and determined boy who paid much attention to his books with touch light because he had wanted to be medical doctor one day. He was staying in a village where there was no electricity. The most common source of light was a touch light at then and this didn't reduce his determination.  He could be used as an example by many tutors before other students as a vessel to be learnt from. Most often, Thomas would be called to answer science questions for the form three class which was so amazing. His academic performance was indeed marvelous beyond imagination. It was mostly regarded as "God's giving".
He also top the class throughout till completion and even became overall best in his school in the Basic Education Certificate Examination(BECE) in 2012.
LIFE IN THE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
The life of Thomas Bio in SHS was awesome. It was there Thomas had a great opportunity to mingle with different students from different educational backgrounds. It was quiet scary how Thomas could compete with  from different educational backgrounds because he had schooled entirely in a village school.
Thomas got admission into the Toase senior high school, in the Atwima Nwabiagya district according to the CSPS- computerized School Placement System. His family was financially crippled and couldn't afford the admission fee charged by the Toase senior high school. They had no option than to take him to different school where they can afford. BOAKYE Tromo senior high tecnincal school in Tano North municipality came to mind and upon enquiries, Mr. Frimpong Isaac who stays at Duayaw Nkwanta in the Ahafo region at that time got admission from the school to him. Mr. Frimpong Isaac is the first born of Mr and Mrs Bio,  an elderly brother of Thomas. He is a CID. Thomas was enrolled into the school in 2012 where he offered general agriculture science. His intention was to offer General science but the Boakye Tromo senior high tecnincal school at then wasn't offering pure science. He was quite late before being enrolled into the school and so had most of the topics treated in his absence or before his admission. Thomas placed third in the first year end of term exams. In the second term too, Thomas Bio became 2nd and in the third term became first. "Is it that unchallenging academic performance revealing itself again"? Thomas brother Adu Francis asked with so much happiness and commended him, well done, the sky is your limit. Adu Francis is the second born of Thomas family and now a graduate teacher._From there, such a ridiculous challenge began, where Thomas struggled to keep to his position till completion. Luckily, Cocoa board issued scholarship to most students who are brilliant but comes from less endowed family in 2013. He was one of these students who enjoyed this offer all because of his performance. He reduced the financial burden from his guardians.
Thomas contested for a senior boy's prefect in third year and won successfully. He also contested the national maths and science quiz competition in Sunyani for his school but nothing good came out because it was realized that there was lack of knowledge about most of the questions which centered on physics, and  biology, and because of the course "Agricultural science" he was offering, they had every question concerning these two subjects wrong. Thomas also joined a lot of social organizations in the school. Notable among these was the VIRGIN AND THE ABSTAINANCE CLUB.
He was also the prayer secretary for the Ghamsu in the school. He is not only recognized in his Alma mater(Boakye Tromo Senior High Technical School)  as the former boy's prefect but also as an advocator who led the entire SRC to purchase an inflorescence sign post for the school during his tenure of office.
Initially, the school had just a mere metal sign post which wasn't appealing. One of the tutors who liked him so much was Madam Emelia Henewaah, tutor of crop husbandry and horticulture. Lo and behold, Thomas completed in 2015 and after completion, he could not remain indoors helplessly  unconcerned. He needed to at least mobilize some money to further his education. He wrote letters to numerous private schools including Peprah Agyemang Capital School in Abesim, Lanas Intellectuals Academy School in Duayaw Nkwanta. Surprisingly, his letter of application was rejected by the Peprah Agyemang Capital School, because they needed only trained teachers. Luckily he was called for an interview by the Lanas Intellectuals Academy and God being so good, he was employed as a class three tutor. He worked for almost a year in 2015 and left for the Adventist preparatory school in Duayaw Nkwanta in 2017 where he taught for six months in Kindergarten one and unpreparedly left when he got admission into physiotherapy and Orthotics Training school.

_____________________________________________
Before Thomas could planned of entering tertiary school, he had that feeling of becoming a medical doctor. Upon entering the tertiary school, he was still having the urge but he began to desist from this aim because he had missed what could grant him that opportunity. Thus by offering  general science course in SHS. After SHS, he focused on becoming a nurse and so after completion in 2016, he bought a nursing form from the Presbyterian Nursing Training School, Agogo Asante Akim. He didn't meet the quota after attending the interview and began focusing on other forms he bought from KNUST and PHYSIOTHERAPY AND ORTHOTICS TRAINING SCHOOL. A week after the interview, the KNUST offered him an admission into Agricultural Biotechnology in 2016. He became very happy because this covered the pain he developed from not gaining admission into studying diploma in nursing. Sadly, Thomas lost this opportunity when his guardians had no money to pay for the admission fee.
He was later on called for an interview by the physiotherapy and Orthotics Training School. His focus was centered on becoming a physiotherapist. Luckily, Thomas gained an admission into studying diploma in physiotherapy in the physiotherapy and Orthotics Training School, Duayaw Nkwanta  in 2017 and this time, his guardians had no option than to enroll him with loan. His life in the tertiary as it were, remain same with simple God fearing and humbled life. He joined lot of prayerful organizations. Thomas time consciousness never faded, it continued with him unabated. His life there, is awesome and incomparable. He's descent, cool, humble, brilliant and influential young guy. Many students respect him because of how he present because he has respect for all. In the first year, Thomas lifestyle caught the attention of one of the students whose life was almost like him and they became friends. He has been a vessel lot of students are learning from.
Numerous initiatives came on his mind in 2019 where he began planning how best he can do to be unique and popular. Hence the introduction of the PHYSIOTHERAPY TO THE WORLD on facebook. A page aimed at educating the public on neuromusculoskeletal conditions.
Many people from other countries are liking this page on facebook and the page is always fed with catchy information worth reading.
Along the line, at the later part of the 2019, he expanded and linked this page to his personal blog site which also bears the same name as that on facebook.
MORAL LESSON
His life may be  similar to that of you who is reading. Life is full of struggles and pains, but with determination and hardworking, success would surely be your portion. Thomas is from less endowed family background yet his determined life has been pushing him all along. Many of us might take advantage over the fact that our guardians are very rich and may not put in much effort to gain for yourself, but remember, it is not whatever that your mum or dad or brother or sister has that belongs to you. No matter how rich your family, work hard to achieve greater things for yourself so that you can also be tagged of your own initiatives and hard work done. This makes you unique.

  3. Hmmmmmmm! IRONICALLY, You have made me feel HAPPY SAD today after reading this article from you Tommy (THE BRAKER) as one of your teachers Mr. David affectionately calls you for your brilliant nature. I described the import of this article as a HAPPY SAD because when I infer the past where you begun, the family you comes from, the ups and downs coupled with other agonies you encountered through your endeavors, tears would be used to express how I felt after going through the write up. I also felt happy after reading the article because of the covenant I had with God most high that has almost been answered. Tommy, words can not be used to quantify or describe how the family know you've suffered in life through your educational journey. The family of Mr and Mrs Bio is solidly behind you physically and spiritually - remember there's light at the end of a tunnel. It is my prayer and hope that you will be able to get to the destination you so DESIRED or WISHED. THE SKY IS YOUR LIMIT.
